Acknowledgement of Country

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong/Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands that I now call home and on which I live, work, create, and learn to tell stories. I acknowledge that I am an uninvited visitor. I pay my respects to their Elders past, present, and to the emerging, and I also extend my respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and communities.

As an artist and curator, I recognise that creative and curatorial practice is always shaped by place, history, culture and community. I acknowledge the enduring relationships First Nations peoples hold with Country and their continuing contributions to art, storytelling and cultural knowledge. This has long been a place of learning, sharing, and dialogue through language, songlines and pathways. I approach my practice with a commitment to listening, learning and creating space for respectful dialogue.

Sovereignty was never ceded.

致敬土地

我谨向这片土地自古以来的传统主人和守护者 Kulin Nation 的 Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung 人民与 Bunurong／Boon Wurrung 人民致以敬意。如今，我将这里称为家，在此生活、工作、创作，也在此学习如何聆听与讲述故事。

我也清楚地意识到，自己是一个未经邀请而来到这片土地的访客。我向他们过去与当下的长者，以及正在成长、承续文化的年轻一代致敬；同时，也向所有澳大利亚原住民和托雷斯海峡岛民艺术家及社群表达我的尊重。

作为一名艺术创作者与策展人，我始终相信，任何创作与策展实践都无法脱离其所在的土地、历史、文化与社群。First Nations peoples 与 Country，祖地、生命、记忆和精神彼此紧密相连的延续至今的深厚关系，以及他们在艺术、叙事与文化知识上的持续创造与传承，时刻提醒我重新思考自己倾听、理解和讲述故事的方式。

长久以来，这片土地一直是学习、分享与对话之所，知识在语言、歌线与行走路径之间传承、流动和延续。在我的实践中，我将始终保持倾听与学习，并努力为真诚、尊重且负责任的对话留出空间。

这片土地的主权从未被割让。
